Salvia discolor

A beautiful salvia from Peru. The velvety green leaves have silver gray undersides, and the gray stems carry inky purple, almost black flowers -- a stunning combination of colors. This tender salvia thrives in frost-free areas, but can be grown as an annual or in pots in colder climates. Grows to 2 feet tall and blooms from summer to frost.
