Bright yellow petals surround a dark brown cone in this attractive West Coast native. 'Tip Top' is a more compact cultivar introduced this year by Germany's Jelitto Seeds. Grows to 2 feet tall and blooms June-August. Great candidate for flower cuttings. Easy to grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Hardy to Zone 7.
