This charming plant from South Africa grows to a bushy 2 feet and blooms all summer. The daisy-like flowers have 2-inch white petals with a blue eye encircled in gold and close at night. Leaves are a handsome silvery green. Does best in hot, dry sites, in sandy, well-draining soil. Arctotis grandis is a perennial in Zones 9-11, but is grown as an annual in colder zones.
