Lathyrus vernusSpring Vetchling
A pretty plant that blooms in early spring with purple-colored sweet-pea flowers and ferny foliage.
It has a nice compact form (to 18 inches tall), doesn't climb, and comes back every spring.
Lathyrus vernus is an easy plant to grow.
It tolerates both sun and part shade, is drought-resistant and pest-free.
We are currently out of the pink bicolor form, but we do have the cultivar Lathyrus vernus 'Flaccidus' (with narrower leaves) available.
