This is a pretty wildflower native to the northwest, Alaska, and parts of the midwest and Canada. It has blue-green fernlike leaves on a 16"-24" plant. The showy pink flowers have yellow tips and a single spur, and generally bloom the first year from seed. Fully hardy, likes sun and dry soils. Short-lived perennial or biennial, but self-seeds. Great for the rock garden.
