Campanula sarmatica


An uncommon, pretty bellflower from the Caucasus mountains. The soft narrow leaves are crinkled and very attractive. Lavender-blue flowers bloom in summer on 2-foot spikes. Low-key, but charming presence in the garden. Hardy to Zone 4. Prefers moist soil.
